Northwoods Wellness Center provides structured, trauma-informed care for adults navigating complex mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use concerns. Our programs are designed to support stabilization, skill-building, and clear next steps. Treatment plans are individualized, clinically grounded, and delivered in a calm residential setting in the North Georgia mountains.
Residential Treatment
Our primary level of care offers 24/7 support in a structured therapeutic environment. Clients live on site for a period of time while participating in individualized treatment, psychiatry, and skills-based programming.
Outpatient Program
For clients who are ready for a step-down level of support, outpatient care reinforces skills, accountability, and continuity. Outpatient planning is coordinated with each client’s clinical goals and aftercare needs.

Residential treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD and other complex psychiatric conditions, with individualized planning and consistent structure.
Integrated mental health and substance use treatment in one coordinated plan, supporting long-term stability and relapse prevention skills.
Therapy is tailored to each client’s needs and may include CBT, DBT, ACT, REBT, trauma-informed therapy, and group-based skills work.
Psychiatric oversight supports stabilization and long-term functioning through evaluation, medication management, and coordinated treatment planning.
Whole-person supports may include yoga, mindfulness, art and music therapy, sound-based relaxation, and other body-based services when clinically appropriate.
Family involvement is offered in ways that respect privacy while strengthening recovery at home through education, therapy, and guidance.
Specialty services are available when clinically indicated and may be added to support stabilization, clarity, and long-term recovery.
